Arrive in Tashkent. After migration formalities, meet and greet your guide. Proceed to join a Sightseeing Tour of Tashkent that covers the old and new parts of the capital. This starts at the Khast Imam Square to the Amir Timur Square, along with Tashkent Striking Clock, Theater Square with the Opera House, Independence Square, Chorsu Bazaar, and Tashkent Metro before heading to your hotel for check-in. Greet your first morning in Tashkent with a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel. Today, you will have the opportunity to spend the day at leisure or join the group for an optional tour of Samarkand (In case the high-speed train is not available, the transfers will replaced by Coach). It can be said that no trip to Uzbekistan is complete without visiting Samarkand, the famous capital of the 14th-century Timurid Empire. This optional excursion starts at the Gur Emir Mausoleum which is the burial site for Timur the Great and is noted for its gold-ornamented detailing. Next is the Registan Square which is Central Asia’s iconic Medieval Architecture site featuring the Ulughbek Madrassa, Madrassa Sherdor, and Madrassa Tilla Kori. Later on, you will go to the Bibi Khanim Mosque which is the largest medieval building in the city, the Shahi Zinda Necropolis awaits a unique complex of Mausoleums, and Ulugbek’s Observatory which is the most advanced astronomical center at its peak. Good morning Tashkent. Wake up to a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will have the opportunity to spend the day at leisure or join the group for an optional tour of the Chimgan Mountains. Chimgan is comparable to the sights of Switzerland. The slopes of the mountains are covered with relict juniper forests. Mountains and hills are indented by swift mountain rivers. These West Tian-Shans Mountains are a sight to behold and remember, not to mention offering a variety of snow experiences and activities like skiing, snowboarding on top of a simple trek. If the conditions permit, you will visit the Amirsoy Resort which opens to a variety of skiing activities, cableway rides, and restaurants. Overnight in Tashkent.
