Breakfast will be ready at the hotel. You have a day at leisure to explore the city on your own or prepare yourself for departing to Kyoto for a day tour. Kyoto is a city on the island of Honshu, known for classical Buddhist temples adorned by intricate beautiful gardens and imperial palaces. There are also numerous iconic Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses in the city. Your exploration of Kyoto starts with a visit to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, one of the most photographed parts of the city. Next is the Kinkaku-Ji Golden Pavilion, another popular sightseeing site in Kyoto, a Zen Buddhist temple. After lunch, you will visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which is the proper place to introduce you to the Shinto religion and the history of Japan. You may also be able to try out some local treats from the food stalls or take Instagram-worthy photos under the iconic 1000 gates. Return to Osaka after an eventful day. Overnight in Osaka.

Have plenty servings of breakfast before joining the group for the Nara City Tour. The tour will start with a drive to Nara, a popular destination known for the Todai-ji Temple & Deer Park, which are the main attractions. You will have the opportunity to see the Daibutsu (Great Buddha), one of the largest bronze statues in the world, and visit the Nara Deer Park, where you will encounter friendly deer roaming freely. These deer may even bow to ask for treats, but please be mindful of the appropriate behavior when interacting with them. After lunch, the group will return to Osaka for an orientation tour, which will include visits to some of the city's popular sights. The tour will begin with a stop at Osaka Castle (viewing from the outside) and Park, where you can explore the magnificent fortress situated in the heart of the city. You will also visit Dotonbori Street, known for its delicious food, and Shinsaibashi Street, a haven for fashion enthusiasts. The day will end with an overnight stay in Osaka.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel before checking out. Prepare a smaller bag for just one night’s stay in Hiroshima. Today, the group will travel to Hiroshima by coach. Before heading to Hiroshima, there will be a guided tour of Kobe, a city located on Osaka Bay in central Japan. Kobe is known for its premium marbled beef and beautiful mountain views by the bay. During the city orientation, the group will visit Harborland, Kobe Chinatown, and Kobe Port. After the tour, the group will be transferred to Hiroshima and check into the hotel. Breakfast will be ready at the hotel to prepare you for your departure. After breakfast, board the coach to visit Hiroshima Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. The Atomic Bomb Dome is the only structure near the hypocenter that remained standing after the tragic explosion of the first atomic bomb in 1945. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Years after this tragedy, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum was built in the center of the city to honor the memory of the people of Hiroshima and the aftermath of the bombing during World War II. After the city tour, you will proceed to the train station to board the Shinkansen from Hiroshima to Tokyo. Upon arrival in Tokyo, receive luggage and check into the hotel after an eventful and insightful exploration. You will be staying overnight in Tokyo.

Good morning Tokyo! It's your first morning in the city, and you're starting the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel to get ready for the day ahead. Today, you'll be joining a full-day Tokyo City Tour. The tour begins with a visit to the Asakusa Sensoji Kanon Temple, which is Tokyo's oldest and one of its most important Buddhist temples with a rich historical significance. After exploring the temple, you'll stroll through the Nakamise Shopping Street, a 250-meter popular shopping street that connects the Sensoji Main Gate to the Main Hall. On the way to the lunch location, you'll pass by some interesting sights such as the Imperial Palace and the National Diet Building. Following lunch, you'll visit the Tokyo Tower, a 332.9-meter communications and observation tower located in the Shiba-Koen district of Minato, Tokyo. It's the second-tallest structure in Japan. On the drive, you'll also see Ginza and the Rainbow Bridge as you head to Odaiba, a man-made island on Tokyo Bay that serves as an entertainment complex. Today, you have the option to enjoy a free day in Tokyo or join the group for a day tour to see Japan’s most iconic natural landscape, Mt. Fuji. Mt. Fuji is the most majestic mountain in all of Japan, and the tour will also include a visit to the Oshino Hakkai Village, well-known for its 9 crystal-clear ponds that are so opaque they almost look like glass. After some time allotted for lunch, the group will take a scenic cruise on Lake Kawaguchiko, followed by a panoramic ride on the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, which offers a better view of Mt. Fuji overlooking Lake Ashi. After the tour, you will return to the hotel in Tokyo for the night.

Travel Tips

  •  Carry sunscreen and sunglasses every day with you while you are travelling
  •  Be on time as advised by the dedicated tour manager
  •  Having a travel Insurance is very important!
  •  Scan your passport/ identity card photos and save them in your mobile
  •  Try learning a few words of the language of the country you are visiting
  •  Always carry a photocopy of your itinerary with yourself
  •  Self-educate yourself about the local customs of the country before you arrive. You obviously do not want to offend anyone while you travel!
  •  Be kind, polite & Smile often! Being part of a group tour will definitely make it easier for you to make your new travel buddies.
  •  Carry an extra pair of clothes when you are catching a flight in your handbag in case of any unexpected delays
  •  Charge all your gadgets whenever you get time. A great tip - you will find a USB charging port at the back of your hotel TV!
  •  Try not to exchange your currency at the airport as you will not get the best exchange rate over there
  •  Get earplugs and a sleep mask along with you! They can be very helpful when you are flying or especially during your inter-country commute via tour bus
  •  Track your spending when you are on the trip! It can be tiresome but you will always be well-informed about all your expenses and the remaining travel budget amount
  •  As tipping is habitual in most of the countries, it is not polite to walk out of the restaurants without tipping anything. You can tip somewhere between 10 to 20 per cent of the total bill value
  •  Let your bank know that you will be travelling so your card is not blocked for sudden international usage

Japan dream tour with AFC Our first tour with AFC Holidays is to Japan - an amazing & highly recommended destination. This is also our first tour in a big group which also enabled different experiences with other families from different countries, cultures, background etc. From the very beginning, we planned a tour for another country. However, due to some hiccups in visa application, we changed our destination to Japan. Kudos to Mr. Arnold who helped us a lot in getting approval for package changing, visa, etc. Another plus point going to the AFC operations team who arranged a session with us 1 week prior to the tour with tips & necessary advices. Moreover, on the date of traveling, operations team gave us 2 calls reminding us about the flight departure date & time since our flight is 1 day prior to the tour. Special thanks to our tour guide Mrs. Mari who became our close friend after 1 week traveling together. She is a very supportive, caring, knowledgeable & warm person who was managing the tour very well. Apart from that, we would like to express our thanks to the driver - Mr. Okamoto who was silently supporting us during the long journey in 7 days (Tokyo-Fuji-Nagano-Takayama-Kyoto). Overall, we had great experience with AFC team in the first trip. If someone asks for recommendations, we wouldn’t be hesitant to say “AFC holidays”. Great job team! I went to jordan few days ago. At the beginning i was not sure to go there or not due to the current safety issue. But then after communicate and have discussion with the AFC Holiday representative, Ms. Aswathi, i decided to go with AFC Holiday. Ms. Aswathi was very patient to answer all my questions and she help me for all the document that is required and the administration. My holiday was very amazing, because they planned everything very well. Visa on arrival, transportation, luggage, hotel, meals, everything was arranged by them, we just need to take ourself and enjoy the journey. In the end of journey, AFC Holiday team was welcome us back in the Dubai’s airport with pretty flower bouquet and some snack. Really enjoy the experience. For sure i will use AFC holiday again for my next holiday.

AFC is very professional from the time I started my inquiry, everything was detailed and clear It was my third travel with AFC my first trip was Kenya 2nd Europe (Swiss, Paris & Germany) and 3rd is Japan, very good experience in all three, have very good memories from each trip, AFC is one of the best trustable travel agencies, My point of contact is Andrew from last 3 years I love to meet him in person for any enquiries and doubts he is available any time on phone / in person for meeting to address any concerns, he explained about the Japan trip everything very friendly. His recommendations and suggestions were valuable for us making the right decision. After we booked the trip Heena & her team was in touch with us with regular calls/emails for the visa related process. Her customer service is informative and friendly where you can ask anything without any hesitation. During the trip, AFC provided us an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide- Mr. Meno, who made our trip smooth he was flexible with timings after the tour time also he was available, In case we need to do extra activities. AFC Visa team is the best team in Europe tour they bring the France embassy representatives to AFC office and we submitted the doc for visa process at AFC office that was during COVID.
